Hello lovely readers how are you doing ? Happy thanksgiving, hope you all are having a wonderful long weekend if you are in the US and rest are having a good weekend. I am busy doing some shopping specially for the kids and home ,lately I have been feeling very proud about myself for not being an impulsive shopper anymore. I have stopped buying things that I don't need. Nowadays I hardly shop for myself and if I do I buy things that I really need or will be useful. I was looking into buying a new camera or a lens for my present Nikon DSLR and thought black Friday will be the ideal time to get it but did not find any good deal so if you know of any good deal please let me know and also any suggestions for a good camera, please pour in. Diwali 2015

Hi all hope you all are enjoying the weekend. Last weekend we celebrated Diwali with our close friends hosted by our dear friends Sushant and Gargy. We had awesome fun. We enjoyed delicious food , did little pooja, burned crackers everyone gave performances which we enjoyed a lot. It was a sleepover party so once the kids were asleep we started with our card games and board games, crazy dance etc etc till late night. Next day the friends whose place we were staying at treated us with delicious home cooked lunch later after lunch I took my girlfriend's for a drive in my new car then  we left for home in the evening with huge bag of Diwali gift from the hosts. All in all it was one of the best Diwali till date. Here's sharing some photos of the party and the outfit that I wore . I will soon upload the blog video on my YouTube channel soon.

Fall Look book: Monochome high low dress from Zaful.

Hi all how was your weekend? Mine was wonderful, throughout last week we celebrated one of our biggest festival , the festival of light Diwali. We celebrated it with our friends over the weekend but Diwali was actually on Wednesday and on the day of Diwali we din't want to stay at home, wanted to do something but weekdays most of our non Indian friends were busy and our Indian friends all stay quite far so making any plans on weekdays was not possible so we decided to go out and have dinner at one of our favorite restaurant and then drove around the town in my new Audi. My birthday celebration 2015.

 Hi all today am sharing pictures of my birthday celebration. This birthday was one the best till date it made me feel how blessed I am to be surrounded by such wonderful people who love me so much. First it started with a surprise party that my girlfriend Stephanie and Yehnita threw at my favorite pub. It was a night of fun with dancing, drinking and endless surprises. Words cannot describe how special they made me feel.My birthday was on Monday,Nov 2nd but the celebration started from Friday Oct 30th. On my Birthday I was not well so did not do much , hubby and daughter surprised me with cake, flower and cards, later went for some shopping and ended the night watching a movie and eating dinner that we took out. Later that weekend hubby threw a small party to celebrate my birthday with rest of my very close friends. It was a red and black theme party I wore my favorite Daine Von dress. We had way too much fun, hubby got some delicious Indian food, we danced, we sang played games almost the entire night. And the best part my hubby instord for later , my birthday gift. Hubby gifted me a brand new 2015 Audi A4 car what more I need. All in all the best birthday ever.

        

Halloween 2k15

Hi all how are you doing? Today I am going to share our pictures from Halloween celebration last weekend. It was so much fun with the kids , friends and family. This is was basically my younger daughter Anaira's first time dressing up and going trick or treating so I was very excited, last year she was just month old during Halloween so we could not do much but this year we enjoyed to the fullest. I dressed up as Cleopatra I made the costume myself also you can see the makeup tutorial on my  here on my Youtube channel. I also made this cape for Anaira and dresses her as Rd riding hood. Samayera was over excited as she got to spent the entire day with her friends we went to two different events and she wore two different costumes first she dressd up as Rapunzel and then Elsa from the Disney movie Frozen. Hubby did not dress up this year as he was very busy the entire morning with his office work laer in the evening he took us trick or treating at a friend's neighborhood and was the camera man for the evening.

 

 

Anaira turns one.

So its been almost a month that we celebrated our younger daughter Anaira's 1st Birthday and ever since then I have been trying to upload these awesome photos with you all but some how or the other it got delayed. Today I was actually about to share my Halloween post when I came across this birth day post still lying in the draft section so I decided to share this post instead. Austin Travel Dairies part 2: Cruise trip.

Hi all so it has been more than a month that we went on a small trip to the nearby city of Austin I have shared some pictures of the trip previously here on my blog and today I finally got the chance to share rest of the pictures from the trip hope you like them.

Saturday attended one of our friend's daughter's birthday party the cutie turned 3. These birthday parties are always fun, not only for the kids but for us adults too. We have great time with our friends, yummy food, and of course get dressed up and get clicked. It was a Sophia theme birthday so I thought will wear something in the color amethyst orchid as it will go with the theme as well as being a color of fall 2015 will be the perfect first look in my fall look book  but then couldn't find any clothing in that color in my closet that I liked much. Then I saw couple of new maxi dresses hanging in my closet and this was one of them and I thought this dried herb color print all over the dress is so perfect for the first fall look. Travel dairies: Hamilton pool and Austin.

So Labor Day weekend we went to this beautiful Lakeside cabin at Lake Buchanan Dam a four  hours drive from our home and one hour north of Austin. The vacation was one that I needed badly . Lovely place with lovely people had an awesome time and here's sharing some pictures from the trip. These pictures were taken on the second day of our vacation. We reached the cabins late night on Friday night and basically just had dinner ,chatted and slept. Next morning went to the Hamilton pool which is a must see and then went to Austin downtown to see the Texas State Capitol and Mount Bonnel to see the view of the city . Hello all how are you all doing? Really it's weekend already ? Time flies, specially after my daughter's school reopened I feel like the days are passing by so fast. Lately I have been a little sick not feeling too well. I guess this is all because of the lack of sleep as our  schedule is little still messed up , sleeping in late and waking up early and cannot take a nap the entire day because of my little one as she is too active throughout the day. I have to be behind her and when she sleeps I need to take care of the household work specially cleaning and arranging my house as unorganized and cluttered house makes me irritated and stressed out so I would rather clean and enjoy a clean house than sleep in a cluttered house. I had been really lazy the entire week, needed to film a few videos for my Youtube channel but I couldn't as I wasn't getting the energy neither did I shoot any outfit pictures so I thought I would skip this week's post but then I realized I did a shoot few weeks ago which never went up on my blog and thought this is the perfect time to post it.

Lookbook: Shades of blue.

Hi all how was your weekend mine was  a real lazy one, for the first time in a year I guess we spent the entire weekend at home being lazy. That had been a distant dream ever since I had my second kid but luckily she co operated this time. Our weekends are usually busy sometimes busier than the weekdays shopping, dining, attending even, parties, visiting places, small trips or friends coming over something or the other but this weekend we decided to just rest. We spent Saturday watching tv, playing with the kids, and sleeping got food delivered so no cooking and hubby took care of the kids' food so I literally had a day off. Today that is Sunday did some cooking, ditched the diet and exercise and made some spicy chicken and polao. I wanted to put this post up in the morning but didn't want to even open the laptop finally after a nice dinner and the kids all asleep I am working on the post while indulging in some delicious cheese cake factory cake and watching some tv at the same time this is my me time I call it. What a perfect weekend.

This would be the fifth party I am organizing and with every party I am getting better at it so much so that one fine day I can just make it my profession to be a event organizer. Hi all, yay to the weekend again. So every weekend we try and do something that would be fun for the kids ,to take away the monotony of the long summer vacation. So last to last weekend we decided to visit the children's museum of Houston in the downtown on a friend's suggestion although it was a 30 miles drive from our place the drive was worth it as both my kids and us too had a great time. And this is what I wore to the day at the museum.

So this post have been pending for a while now last to last weekend I went for a mom's night out with a group of other moms who are also my very good girlfriends and this is what I wore. I received this bow print dress one year back and then I was pregnant and I was not fitting into it. At that time I thought I would never be able to fit into it even after my delivery as I gained so much weight but guess what I had to alter it to wear it as it was too loose now.

Anaira's rice ceremony party..

So last Saturday we threw a party to celebrate Anaira's rice ceremony. This ceremony marks the beginning of her starting to eat solid foods. It feels like just yesterday that this tiny baby of mine was born but time flies so fast she is already 6 months. This is what I wore on the 1st day of our short trip to a nearby beach town called Corpus Christi. It was an awesome trip had loads of fun, enjoyed the sea, relaxed at our beautiful hotel. It was more of a laid back trip kind of taking a little break from the hectic and monotonous days everything was great except that we left our DSLR at home so had to use my iPhone to take pics but am pretty amazed to see the awesome pictures that my iPhone 6 took.
